The Story
Chelsea Clock first produced its WWII-era engine room clocks more than 80 years ago, and those clocks are still used by the U.S. Navy today. The 8.5-inch Naval Deck Clock is a tribute to this classic vintage style and even uses the same heat-resistant phenolic resin for the case. The original mechanical movement is replaced with a modern battery-powered quartz movement, so no winding is required.
Includes individual, hand-applied serial number, registered in Chelsea's manufacturing log.
